KATHMANDU, March 8: Candidates of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) have secured victories in four more constituencies for the House of Representatives, continuing the party’s strong electoral performance across the country.
In Palpa-2, Madhav Bahadur Thapa of RSP was elected as a member of the HoR. He secured 26,736 votes, defeating Himal Datta Shrestha of the Nepali Congress (NC), who received 12,992 votes.

In Nawalparasi (Bardaghat-Susta West)-1, RSP candidate Bikram Khanal was elected with 45,241 votes. He defeated Nepali Congress candidate Binod Kumar Chaudhary by a margin of 35,739 votes, while Chaudhary secured 9,502 votes.
In Kanchanpur-2, RSP’s Deepak Raj Bohara won the seat by a wide margin, defeating NC candidate Narayan Prakash Saud. Bohara received 33,952 votes, while Saud secured 10,827 votes.
Meanwhile, in Kanchanpur-3, RSP candidate Gyanendra Singh Mahata won the election with 27,118 votes. In the same constituency, NC candidate Hari Prasad Bohara received 9,443 votes, while CPN-UML candidate Deepak Prakash Bhatta secured 7,575 votes.
