KATHMANDU, Sep 28: Captain of the Nepali national cricket team, Rohit Kumar Paudel, has dedicated his Man of the Match award to those who were martyred during the Gen-Z movement on September 8 and 9.
He received the award following his brilliant performance in Saturday’s match against the West Indies in the T20 series. Upon receiving the award, he said, “I want to dedicate this award to those who were martyred in the Gen-Z movement in Nepal.”

Nepal defeated the West Indies by 19 runs on Saturday, marking a historic victory. Nepal will now face the West Indies in the second and third matches of the series on Monday and Tuesday.
A total of 74 people lost their lives during the two-day uprising in the country.
