KATHMANDU, Sept 26: Education, Science, and Technology Minister Mahabir Pun has urged the youth to actively prepare for the upcoming elections scheduled for 5 March 2026. He called on young voters to participate in the elections in a united manner rather than being divided.

Taking to social media on Friday, he wrote, “I urge all Nepalis who dream of a government that minimizes corruption, provides good governance to everyone, strengthens Nepal economically, prevents foreign interference, and establishes a system of directly elected president, to immediately prepare to participate in the elections in an organized manner, without any conflicts, by choosing capable, ethical, and determined young representatives.”
He further emphasized, “Until rotten leaders are removed and clean young leaders are elected to form a government with an overwhelming majority, significant change is not possible.”
