KATHMANDU, March 27: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has congratulated newly appointed Prime Minister Balendra Shah.
Sharing a photo of Shah taking the oath of office on social media, Oli wished him a successful tenure.
“Heartfelt congratulations to senior leader Balendra Shah of the Rastriya Swatantra Party on his appointment as Prime Minister,” Oli wrote. “I also extend my best wishes for the success of all cabinet members.”

The oath-taking ceremony, held at Sheetal Niwas, was attended by outgoing Prime Minister Sushila Karki and former prime ministers Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Madhav Kumar Nepal, Jhalanath Khanal and Baburam Bhattarai.
However, Oli and Sher Bahadur Deuba were not in attendance.
