Three students die in two-bike crash after returning from SEE exams

KATHMANDU, April 7: Three students were killed and three others seriously injured when two motorcycles collided and caught fire in Bathnaha Village on Tuesday.



The victims, who had just returned from their Secondary Education Examination (SEE), died at the scene. The injured are receiving treatment at the regional hospital in Jaleshwar, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Shailendra Bhatt.

Police have not yet released the names or details of the victims. Both motorcycles were completely burned, making the number plates unreadable.


The crash occurred in the morning when the motorcycles, coming from opposite directions, collided in Ward No. 5 of Ekdara Rural Municipality. Two of the injured are in critical condition, while one is in moderate condition.
