KATHMANDU, Feb 2: The views on the arrest of CK Raut tweeted by Naya Shakti coordinator Dr Baburam Bhattarai two years ago has gone viral on Thursday.
Tweeter users have heavily criticized Bhattarai’s two-year-old tweet after the police arrested secessionist CK Raut from Janakpur today.
Social media users have been asking Bhattarai for his views over the arrest of secessionist Raut.
Baskota tweet misfires
Two years ago Bhattarai had tweeted saying, “we do not concur with the views of CK Raut but the government has made a grave mistake by arresting him. Raut should be released immediately." Raut had been arrested from Rangeli of Morang district.
Raut was arrested on the charge of treason today.Police have taken him into custody after arresting him from Janakpur.
Bhattarai has not made his views public over the arrest of Raut this time.
