KATHMANDU, July 14: President Ram Chandra Poudel has certified three bills related to the budget for the fiscal year 2026/27 approved by both houses of the federal parliament.
According to a statement issued by the Office of the President on Tuesday, the Appropriation Bill, the National Debt Recovery Bill, and the Finance Bill have been certified in accordance with Article 113 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal.

With the certification of the Appropriation Bill, the legal path has been opened for the government to spend the allocated budget for the upcoming fiscal year.
Similarly, the National Debt Recovery Bill provides the government with the legal basis to raise the necessary internal and external debt, while the tax and revenue provisions announced in the budget will come into effect once the Finance Bill comes into effect.
