KATHMANDU, May 27: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Wednesday inclined marginally by 4.99 points to close at 2,782.10 points.
The secondary market opened at 2,777.10 points, inclined initially at 2,782.96 points in the first 13 minutes, while going to a straight fall to day’s low at 2,767.63 points in the next 39 minutes. The index fell to the day’s high at 2,785.16 points in the last 70 minutes. The market shed three points in the remaining period before it closed for the day.

Four groups were the losers as manufacturing and processing declined by the largest of 49.75 points. Of the nine sectors, life insurance surged by the largest of 86.13 points.
The sensitive index, which measures the performance of ‘A’ class companies, increased 1.21 points. Daily turnover surged to Rs 6.03 billion from Rs 4.85 billion.
Among the individual companies, 151 were the gainers as 105 lost their charms for the investors. Ankhu Khola Jalvidhyut Company had the largest turnover of its shares worth Rs 712.23 million.
Kalinchok Hydropower Limited witnessed the highest gain of 14.98 percent in its market value. Sanima Debenture 2089 stood as the topmost loser of 6.64 percent.
