KATHMANDU, April 13: Shram Shakti Party Chair and lawmaker Harka Raj Rai, widely known as Harka Sampang, has called on all those in government to disclose the sources of their publicly declared assets.

Taking to his social media, Sampang said that assets without clear sources would inevitably be viewed as the result of corruption. He also urged authorities to ensure transparency.
“Details of assets held by those in government have come out. It would be better if the sources of those assets were also disclosed,” he wrote on social media. “Assets without a clear source will again be understood as being linked to corruption. The sources must be clarified.”
