KATHMANDU, March 28: In response to the arrest of party chair KP Sharma Oli, the CPN-UML has appointed three leaders to coordinate various political and legal protest programs across the country.
The Central Secretariat meeting assigned the responsibility for political dialogue and coordination to Vice-Chair Bishnu Poudel. Vice-Chair Ram Bahadur Thapa Badal was tasked with coordinating dialogue with parties represented in parliament, while General Secretary Shankar Pokhrel said that Gokarna Bista has been assigned to coordinate legal protests and responses.

The meeting decided that the UML would carry out political and legal resistance in collaboration with all political parties, civil society, and the general public, unveiling plans for a series of nationwide protest programs.
